Here they are creating with a passion and in the traditional tuscan style plates for you to enjoy. Extra vergin olive oil, pasta, marmalades, cheeses, vegetables (from their own garden), eggs (from their chickens), and meat and salumi all produced on the agriturismo are the base ingredients of our kitchen. The Taverna is open in the morning from 8:30 until 10:30 to start your day with a good breakfast based on fresh ingredients produced here or from local suppliers (Thursday the Taverna is closed) Every morning you will find a full buffet with sweet and salty products. You can enjoy this either within the walls of the Taverna or, weather permitting, on the panoramic terrace overlooking the beautifull valley of Chianti Rufina. For those of you on holiday who wish to escape from the kitchen, we have available theme dinners on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Our restaurant is open on Saturdays and Sundays for lunch and activities. During the week, except Thursday (which is our closing day), we are available to prepare a typical tuscan lunch of cold plates of salumi and cheese or simple pasta dishes of the region. If you have chosen our half board option, on our closing days we are happy to direct you to good restaurants close to the Agriturismo: for example in Acone (less than 1 km from our farm) or in Rufina (only 5km). The location of Agriturismo il Giardino is perfect for organizing and hosting events such as wedding receptions, birthday parties, family get togethers and any other events, whether within the antique Taverna, on the panoramic terrace or under the covered veranda.
